This product is an inclusive calendar for sighted people,
the visually impaired as well as blind people. The calendar was designed according to the motto „Braille is cool!” The Braille has been highlighted in fluorescent orange to match the concept. The illustrations include haptic contours and surfaces that also pick up the Braille.

This calendar makes an easy orientation within each month possible. The respective days are simply torn off. The user has the opportunity to solve a puzzle each month which is presented to him at the beginning. The answer becomes visible and tangible over the course of a month in form of a haptic illustration.

Dieses Produkt ist ein inklusiver Kalender für Sehende, Sehbehinderte und blinde Menschen gleichermaßen. Der Kalender ist ganz nach dem Motto „Braille ist geil!“ gestaltet. Die Brailleschrift ist farblich zum Konzept passend in einem transparenten Fluoreszierendem Orange hervorgehoben. Die Illustrationen sind mit haptischen Konturen und Flächen versehen, welche auch die Braille aufgreifen.
Dieser Kalender ermöglicht eine einfache Orientierung innerhalb eines Monats. Dazu werden die jeweiligen Tage einfach abgerissen. Hier hat der Nutzer die Möglichkeit ein Rätsel für den jeweiligen Monat zu lösen, welches ihm zu Beginn gestellt wird. Die Lösung wird im verlauf eines Monats in Form einer haptischen Illustration sichtbar und spürbar.

In diesem Projekt sollten experimentelle Lösungen erarbeitet werden, wie ein Kalender unter dem Motto „Braille ist geil!“ in inklusiver Form gestaltet werden kann.

The illustrations are rich in contrast, two-dimensional and with little detail, so that a visually impaired person can recognize it as well. The haptic areas and lines were reduced in order to avoid confusion for the blind.

The theme “Braille is cool!” was also taken up here. Some areas were outfitted with Braille for a haptic experience, such as the water by the Koi carp, the snow on top of the mountains, the willow catkins and dandelion blossoms.

Die Illustrationen sind kontrastreich, flächig und mit wenig Details, damit sie auch ein Mensch mit einer Sehschwäche oder einer Sehbehinderung erkennen kann. Die haptischen Flächen und Linien sind noch reduzierter um Verwirrungen für den Blinden zu vermeiden.
Das Thema „Braille ist geil!“ wurde hier ebenfalls aufgegriffen. Einige Flächen sind für ein haptisches Erlebnis mit Braille versehen, z.B. das Wasser bei dem Koi-Karpfen, der Schnee auf den Bergen, die Weidenkätzchen und die Löwenzahnblüten.
