SHAPING A COMMUNITY
This beautiful enclave on Yas Island is dedicated to creating a peaceful neighbourhood for UAE Nationals. With its water side and mangrove facing position West Yas is a rare and tranquil oasis for those that want to get away from the city.
Zaman created a visual identity that really reflected that sense of a retreat, a place to be natural, oneself. The color palette of rustic hues with a hint of the sun’s warmth was supported with organic materials.
The imagery is familial and calm, very relaxing, using soft lines and surfaces, warm light, muted colors and plenty of sea references.
The logo utilizes an elegant, gentle serif font that reflects heritage, in this case UAE heritage, and the opportunity to live in a familiar, considerate environment.
Unusually the tagline ‘Yas Island Living’ was given priority, encased in a graphic box and using the same type face as the logo. The box went on to become a useful graphic tool for highlighting key messages. Needless to say the project was sold out almost immediately and we look forward to seeing this visual identity brought to life in the environment which it is intended to truly reflect.
