Deserted
Deserted was developed after reading the book from Alan Weisman „the world without us“. I was very intrigued by this utopia. This theory is explaining and describing what would happen, when suddenly the whole population would disappear. One of the first things that would happen is that the wildlife would take over and develop a psephite between the nature and what mankind created. I felt very inspired by this idea, so I photograped nudes and combined them as collages with drawings. Because it is a utopia, I wanted to use humans as empty
vessels as foundation for growing flora and
ultimately indicating that mother nature is
always prevailing.
