Greek mythology has often served as inspiration in art and media, and in my case is no exception. But even so, I've always felt a connection with "Apollo and Daphne". The perseverance, the chase, the survival of your own ability to choose through sacrifice... Those are still very relatable to this day. Additionally, it tells the origin of my name, since bay tree in Spanish and Latin is called "laurel".

I made this project in 2017, as a teaser for a full short movie.
