Portfolio Center hosted Photographer Holly Andres, and I had the opportunity to design the seminar poster for the event. Andres’s approach is cinematic, and revolves around womanhood, adolescence, memory, and mystery. Her work is influenced by her own past, and “examines the complexities of childhood, the fleeting nature of memory, and female introspection.” For this poster, I chose to use ribbon to create the type, so to compliment the photography, and tie in to the themes of Andres's work.
