ABOUT THE PROJECT:
The goal of the project was to develop a corporate gift packaging of a chosen brand. Sustainable Design was the main focus of the project, in which Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolates was used as the object of study. The gift packaging is designed such that it will have less impact on the environment. After some research and study, it was detected that the plastic and tin packaging which the brand used for their gifting can be eliminated by the use of recyclable and biodegradable materials which will improve the environment.
This packaging design solution is practical and is also biodegradable and recyclable. Most of the packaging can easily disposed of in an eco-friendly way and should not see landfill. It is also made largely from recycled materials such as pizza box, old paper bags and old jute bags which use small amount of energy to manufacture. The raw materials are easily obtainable locally and come from sustainable and reliable resources.
The packaging can be used as a vase to keep flowers or can be used as a pen stand . The packaging can also be used as a jewellery box.
The packaging can be used for multiple puropse.
