أثر الفراشة هى نظرية تشير إلى أن الفروق الصغيرة التى تحدث  في نظام متحرك ديناميكي (مثال : كفراشة تحرك جناحها) ) قد ينتج عنها في المدى البعيد فروقات كبيرة في تصرفات وسلوكيات هذا النظام ( مثال : كإنفجار بركان فى مكان اّخر )  ، يوضح العمل الفنى المكون من 16 لوحة هذه التعبير المجازى بصورة لرأس إنسان هذا الأثر الناتج عن طريق إحداث بعض التغيرات الصغيرة فى كل لوحة ، فيتغير شكل الإنسان و يفكك ليصبح شىء اّخر و هذا ما يحدث فى حياتنا عن طريق التغيرات التى نقررها يوميا و التى تغير من وجودنا و مافهيمنا و شخصيتنا .
