Minimal Concrete
Nancy Da Campo. 2019. Busan, South Korea
Reducing architecture at its pure form, only lines and geometry.
Shapes are enhanced by the pleasing and bare aesthetics of concrete, a material many people associate with rain-stained social housing or banal industrial buildings.
Concrete is not an austere nor cold nor bland material, quite the contrary it is so lively and mutable. Always reflecting the weather circumstances, it creates a bold interaction between forms and structures.
