Brief
Butler&Wilson Ltd., quirky Fashion Jewellery and Accessories brand founded in 1969, tasked me to design a cute animal brooch that will become a part of a New SS17 Collection for B&W and QVC Shopping Channel.
Solution
Based on a research I have sketched two brooch designs inspired by toys we used to play when we were kids. I have designed a simple, yet interesting shape for outline brooch. An uncomplicated in form and recognisable silhouettes made brooches look contemporary. Design allowed to reduce the production cost drastically, which created a great revenue./ produce them lightweight.
Both, Teddy Bear and Dachshund brooches were produced by B&W Ltd. in a high quantity in three different colours. Brooches were shown on air on QVC. Limited quantity was available on QVC, B&W website and in B&W Flagship Store after brooches were on air. Dachshund brooch became a bestseller on QVC website and was sold out within very short period of time. Both brooches designs were reordered by QVC twice.
