Packaging for Fabindia

Designing packaging for Fabindia's range of organic foods, body care products using materials like Jute linen and cotton. For surface ornamentation tie and dye and block printing techniques are used.
The inspiration board depicts the strong significance of rural artisans employment in the brand.

The first packaging is made using jute linen, cotton, coir rope. This packaging is a multipurpose which can be utilised as a tablecloth after conveying the octagonal stencil seperate from the pouch. The tie and dye technique is used for surface ornamentation.The packaging is 44cms in length and 2.5 cms in height. The stencil is 16 cms in length and 2.5 cms in height and can be used to store face products.
This packaging is made using card sheet, ohp sheet.Block printing is done on each individual boxes as a part of surface ornamentation. It is a compact box that opens up from the sided to form a rectangle of four boxes together used to store body care soaps. Individually each box is 8 cms in length and 6cms in breadth and height.
This packaging is made using jute linen, wood button and thread. The pouch can be used to store organic honey and is used friendly.
