External Consultation Building
Hospital Coromoto
This intervention is a fundamental key in the development of the Hospital Coromoto’s Master Plan at Maracaibo, Venezuela. With this building the complete hospital will be reorganized. The purpose is to separate the administration and consultation area from the hospitalization so the Patrimonial Building could be used to increase the hospitalization area.
Since this is an emblematic building from Maracaibo, specially for it’s petroleum architecture, the fundamental value of the new building is to extract the basics formal and bio climatic characters.
This edification is placed as a link between the high urban profile and the low hospital profile smoothing this hard contrast and creating an organically growth.
