Making this drop cap letter required a very messy, physical medium to be translated to a digital one. Based off of a Gothic blackletter spray-painted stencil, this drop cap was made to be fuzzy around the edges in the form of small pixels on a bitmap. Though some aspects were lost in translation, something different but new came out of the process. By blurring and dissolving this shape to give it this fuzzy feel, it establishes a look of vanishing or something in movement.
