A piece detailing the struggle of living with dermatillomania, an OCD and anxiety linked disorder that causes those affected to compulsively pick at their skin. My personal struggle with this disorder manifests itself by an insatiable need to pick all the "imperfect" skin off of my scalp. I represent this by peeling a layer of false skin off of my back until my "perfect" real skin is revealed entirely.
