MADAME AFRICA
Madame Africa is a bronze statue, made by the Italian sculptor Ignazio Campagna, 7m tall built for the Republic of Chad and positioned between the Museum (Chad National Museum) and the National Library in N'Djamena, capital of Chad.
Madame Africa is a majestic feminine figure inspired by a photograph,
the portrait of an African woman. A woman who had all the characteristics as to physiognomy, posture, attire that are typical of the women in the Republic of Chad.

The inauguration took place in November 2010 and it was presided
by the President together with the Cabinet ministers.
