This project was to create a children's book using song lyrics. I chose "In A Week" by Hozier, which is about two lovers going to die in the woods. I used paper cut illustration, since it has a very innocent feel to it with such a dark song.

For the photoshoot, I decided it would be fun to do makeup like I was decomposing. I feel it provided a fun contrast to how innocent the book looks on the cover.

I learned InDesign much better in this project, as well as paper cut illustration, which I had never tried before.
