Current research suggests that students with “invisible” chronic illnesses such as lupus, fibromyalgia, etc. often report feelings of isolation, low self-esteem, frustration, and accusations of laziness by staff and peers. The goal in creating this zine is to bring comfort to these students living with chronic invisible illness while also educating others.
