The Shark IONFlex DuoClean Cordless best vacuum for pet hair and hardwood floors, Carpet, tile floors, and most other floors is one of the newest cordless vacuums in the Shark lineup. The vacuum comes in a couple flavors. Our favorite is the Shark IONFlex 2x with multiple batteries. We will tell you why below. You can also get it with the single battery option. This Shark has some similar features to others we have reviewed. The DuoClean function is wonderful, and Shark has implemented it very effectively on this vacuum.
We like this vacuum for its versatility. It is great for quick spill cleanups, but also does a very respectable job on medium pile carpeting. On hard wood flooring and tile floors, we much prefer using this to a normal broom. Especially, if it is one of the kids taking a turn. Your kids will be able to get the floors as clean as you expect without you having to re-do it. We like being able to re-configure the vacuum to be able to clean above the floor, something you don't always get with a normal stick vacuum. If you have delicate hardwood or engineered wooden flooring, you need to vacuum up, you will enjoy this vacuum, as it is extremely effective in cleaning these floors without ruining them.
