SHRED is a time-based piece consisting of ten illusory photographs. These photos were shot from an aerial view using a self-timer. In order to create a consistent sense of space and grounding throughout all of the shots, I pulled a single line of tape across an empty floor. Then, I layed down on my back using the tape line as a guide to help position myself and my 2D skateboards in each of the sequential photos. The skateboards were each drawn on paper with charcoal and sharpie, cut out, and then taped in the appropriate position on the floor for each shot.
