These are travel posters that I designed after studying abroad in Europe. As I toured Europe, I purposefully took pictures that would work well for large posters. 

I began my process my sketching thumbnails of my poster ideas. I really liked the idea of placing images into letter shapes. I kept in mind that I wanted to avoid making my posters look less like posters and more like postcards. 

This is my first batch of digital sketches. 

This is my second batch of digital sketches. I did a round of London posters to try out some ideas without having to create a poster for each city.

This is my third batch of digital sketches. It was at this point I was beginning to know what direction I wanted to take.

These are my three rounds of digital variations. I really loved my digital sketches with the large, bold letters and wanted to incorporate those into my design.

These are my final variations of my travel posters. This is where I finalized my choices and make small changes to details such as sizing and exact placement/alignment.
