This Vector portrait is based on a photo that was taken on the Ferris wheel at the OC Fair. I decided to leave out the photo background because I wanted to focus on the subject (myself). I started with a filter version to help place shapes, which I used the pen tool to outline, for the shadows and highlights; I also adjusted the filter to a different level than recommended because I wanted to have more details in values of the skin. I originally made a brush for hair, but I didn't like the way it came out so I found a free brush online; to mention the shirt was supposed to have tie die so I used effects and transforming on shapes but it didn't match the original photo so I left it out. This was fun and I like the final product, so this has to be one of my favorite projects out of all the ones we've done.
