Task              Create poster to promote STEM program event

Client            Pikes Peak Community College STEM Program 

Year              2017

This poster was created in class for a "live" client. The purpose of the poster was to showcase an upcoming event for the STEM program at Pikes Peak Community College. 

I wanted the poster to stand out to viewers while maintain informational hierarchy and also incorporating little details that would intrigue the viewer as they went in closer. I did this with bright colors and leading lines that brought the viewer around the poster. During the event attendees would not only be learning about STEM opportunities but also have the chance to see the ins and outs of how the new mars rover was built. I wanted to create a hint as to what else would be at the event so I illustrated a mars rover in the background image of the poster.
