Magazine Spread with Original Images.

I went around Downtown Ames and took all these photos of my friend. I edited them and made these spreads. One is image dominant and the other is half image, half text. I wanted to keep the spreads very simple and relaxed like the subject, so I kept a lot of white space around the images and text to give it room to breathe.

The sketches are very rough and I knew that it would be hard to get pictures of them, but I did use some of the layout sketches to create my spreads. I went through a few ideas about how to do the spreads one I had my pictures. I decided that all three of those were too simple and did not show enough creativity.
