To draw this sketch I used a green Uniball Uni Jetstream 101 for the body of the creature and the ground. Then for the branches and the fruit I used a black and a red Uniball Signo UMN-207 respectively. Finally for the fireflies I made use of a Metallic Caran d'Ache gold pen.

The Uniball Uni Jetstream 101 left some blobs which I didn't mind because I think they gave the sketch sort of a gritty feeling.

I drew the sketch on a Canson Universal Sketchbook with 96 gsm paper. I've been using this sketchbook for quite a while now and I'm really happy with it, although I wish that the paper was slightly thicker as sometimes I press the pen or the pencil a little bit hard and it leaves a mark on fresh pages.

For the choice of colours for this sketch I was obviously influenced by the Christmas season, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I hope you like it and thanks for your time :)
