A project for Colours of The Bible Art Competition & Exhibition 2018 - an Artistic Celebration of the Bible and the Land of Israel.

The theme of the exhibition was Miracles and Wonders, as the Bible is a book of miracles! From the wonderful creation to the apocalyptic Revelation, God has performed miracles and worked wonders to display His power and glory to all people.

We discovered the best way to represent the artists’ works to the visitors was through a culture brochure. Rather than having the classics—bi fold and tri fold brochures, we came up with a special folding design to be opened up like a broadsheet newspaper. We wanted to try something different, as it would be bold and ideal for the art exhibition. The aim was to create lasting impact but still retain the informational aspect.

Dark color theme was chosen for the cover with information that revealed just enough to intrigue the reader. Colors would slowly turn into brighter shades as the brochure was opened up. 

Since the exhibition theme’s logotype were cursive, sans-serif fonts were used as they would make the overall design cleaner and were fit with the event’s branding.
