John Cage, in Silence, sostiene che non esista il silenzio assoluto e che la musica è il rumore quotidiano provocato dalle azioni di tutti i giorni. Ispirandoci a questo libro abbiamo ideato un percorso museale che si sviluppa attraverso dodici diversi ambienti, stanze e corridoi, dove per il visitatore è possibile avere esperienza diretta della filosofia di Cage.
Nelle sei stanze colorate (Tangle Room, Nature Room, Dangling Room, ecc) è possibile interagire con gli oggetti al loro interno, queste stanze sono collegate tramite dei corridoi che rappresentano le pause tra un suono e l’altro.

John Cage in ‘Silence’ argues that there is no absolute silence and that music is the daily noise caused by everyday actions. Inspired by this book, we devised a museum itinerary developed through twelve different places, rooms and corridors, where it’s possible to have direct experience of Cage’s philosophy.

In the six colored rooms (Tangle Room, Nature Room, Dangling Room, etc.) it is possible to interact with the objects inside them, these rooms are connected by corridors that represent the pauses between one sound and the other.

L’ultima stanza a forma di anfiteatro è il luogo in cui il visitatore può tramite l’uso di una console creare la propria melodia e il proprio poster.
Quest’ultimo è creato tramite un codice che analizza i suoni quindi crea un immagine sinestetica.

The last room in the form of an amphitheater is the place where the visitor can use his console to create his own melody and his own poster. This is created through a code that analyzes the sounds and then creates a synesthetic image.
