Kamlikammo - Interactive Storybook Game for Children

Introduction
It is my final degree project while I was at IDC, IIT Bombay, 2013.
Kamlikammo is an interactive storybook with 3 game levels for children. A story about a little girl named Kamlikammo who braves against all odds to save her friend, Raja the mighty tiger who is shot and injured by a poacher. This story is a blend of fantasy and facts and centers around the the dwindling numbers of tigers and peacocks - the national animal and bird of India.

Story
Kamlikammo and Raja are playing hide and seek in the woods when Raja gets shot by a poacher. Raja however, chases the poacher away before falling unconscious.
Kamlikammo must find the magic potion to save her dear friend's life. She encounters interesting characters along her journey. They help each other and eventually succeed in finding the magic potion and save Raja's life.

Character Design
The designs were created using the Rorschach technique and finally digitally edited to create puppets for animation.

Game Mechanics & Gameplay
It is a point and click game.
There is no scoring or reward system.

Mission 1: Feed Maha Mor
Feed the hungry Maha Mor so that he has enough energy to guide you to your next level. Feed him only the blue crabs. The red ones will bite him and increase the speed of the moving crabs making it difficult for you to catch them!

Mission 2: Hidden Objects.
He who knows everything indeed knows everything. Yet he needs little Kammo's help to find his things which are lost in his unkempt cave.
The items once found, appear before the Sage on the left panel of the screen. They levitate along with him too.

Mission 3: Maze Puzzle
This is a nail biting situation for Kamlikammo and the little Jugnu! They watch closely as Rani maneuvers her way through the tricky maze.
Rani's every wrong move makes them react in funny frustration.
