On the second semester we developed a housing prototype based on the famous courtyard housing typologies from the dutch development at Borneo Sporenburg in Amsterdam.
The house type was to be be used in a 6-unit terrace of row houses located in Sydhavn.
On our design bedrooms remained in the ground floor while common ares were located above.
The house consisted of a courtyard on the middle that cut from the ground up.
And a terrace for the good sunny days.
Behind the row houses is located a big courtyard surrounded by the neighboring houses for common use.
Therefore we designed the windows small in the back for privacy.
This was also our first semester experimenting with dead loads and how it affected building structure.
I this semester we used mainly Revit, plus Lumion for the renders
