The aim of this project was to create a package for a special occasion which was National Youth Homelessness Matters Day. Youth Homelessness Matters Day is a national campaign which has been held annually since 1990. It raises awareness of youth homelessness amongst decision makers and the wider community. This day is a call for everyone to take action and to publicly state that youth homelessness matters and should be prevented. The aim of this topic was to create a package that assists homeless youth while also bringing about awareness of youth homelessness in Australia to the wider population. This package is a care pack for Youth Homelessness. It contains a toothbrush and toothpaste, socks, a pillow and a blanket and can be completely unfolded to sit on and can easily be folded away for travel.
