I worked at The Spicery as an In-House Designer until August this year. The Spicery is a medium-size company based in Bristol, they're experts in blending spices and creating delicious recipes. They've got a wide range of products. The brand identity had changed a few times before I started, so the main challenge was to unify the identity elements to create a constant brand that could be easy to identify. Bright colours and contrast are their main two visual aspects.
One of the the most recent products that I had to work on was a set of four blends in individual containers and a 240 pages hardcover cookbook. This product is available in two presentations: a bright-coloured tin and a colourful printed box. We started with How to be a Curry Legend cookbook which has around 80 Indian recipes, then Big Night In cookbook which has around 40 special recipes and we've just sent to print the latest cookbook called Curry Legend World Curries that has about 80 recipes from around the world. You need the 4 blends to cook any of the recipes in the books! 
The Spicery started a few years ago selling spice packs subscriptions which include a recipe and the spices to prepare it. So, colourful boxes are a must as most of their products are sent through the letterbox.
