For my Senior Thesis I redesigned the covers of eight classic novels to make them more visually appealing for high school students. My theory was that if the books looked more modern and intriguing on the shelf, it would have potential to encourage a higher reading rate in the classroom. The novels are taken from high school reading lists and range in publication date, genre, and author's gender and societal status. The Count of Monte Cristo, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, The Scarlet Letter, Don Quixote, The Picture of Dorian Gray, And Then There Were None, Frankenstein, and The Call of the Wild.
