The uncut diamonds of Malana

Malana is a quaint village in Himachal Pradesh, India. It is a unique village located of 8,701ft above sea level. It has population of merely 4700. The village can only be reached by foot it take 2-3 hours. The best place about this place were the children (The uncut diamonds of Malana). Without any access to technology like television and video games they were still smiling. These kids were very friendly and they grabbed my attention.
The little one lives in this beautiful house which has vibrant colors and became my first friend in Malana.
This kid was not at all camera shy  he invited me to have lunch with him which he will cook.
The smiles on there face made my day and one of the best trips ever. The people of Malana considered themselves as the descandants of Alexender the Great and their local court system even today reflects the ancient Greek system.
The children in Malana are not too educated there is only one Government school which has 100 students and a middle school with 13 students only. Only 2 children in the village managed to do high school.
The children helps there mothers while washing clothes and she also carries a baby at the back and do her work as she has to manage everything at once.
They all live in wooden houses at some don't even have doors. They don't have much facilities but they are happy, they give a lesson that you should be satisfied  with what you have and always smile.
