A Run DMC Tribute
This is a personal project that started last year in 2017 which evolved into a tribute to the hip hop group Run DMC. It all started when I wanted to decorate my workspace with something cool and different. I built a small wooden cassette that was inspired by the now iconic cassette tape used in the 80's and 90's. I began thinking of the music that launched its popularity. Hip hop playing a huge roll in that launch, I wanted to trace it back to the beginning. 
     While I know there were plenty of artist before Run DMC, they happened to be a lot more iconic than the previous artists, (in my view),  i.e. music style, fashion and stage performance. They were also the first group to incorporate rock music with hip hop. Below was a small informational poster I designed to combine with the wooden cassette I made back in 2017.
