A design contest was held between different college organizations under the Science and Technology Cluster (STC) and I was requested to create a design to represent my organization. The card design should be able to promote a sense of unity between the different organizations, yet flexible enough to create a sense of identity for each one.

I created this design with the intention of showing innovation as it has become the hallmark of every science and technology organization. This became the idea behind the arrow to show advancement and improvement. Other than that, I didn't want to add more elements to the design since the multiple logos located at the bottom already proved to be quite cluttered.

The concept of flexibility came in when I realized that the easiest way to differentiate between the organizations was to promote their own organization color. As you can see, the card only has two main colors to choose from, which won't make it too difficult for the 8 different organizations to adapt. 

In the end, my entry won the design contest and it was implemented to the entire cluster. People were happy of the design as they found it simple and appealing, which is what I wanted to happen from the very start. It was a great day for me and my organization since we really wanted to come out on top and show what our small organization can do.
