Persona, User Journey Map & Wireframes - E-Commerce

E-Commerce Site Redesign Project:
Website and E-Commerce Strategies Class at Arizona State University:
In this course, I created the following "Persona", "User Journey Map", and "Wireframes" for the global cosmetic company, "Shiseido Ginza Tokyo". During this process, I also created a SWOT & Competitor Analysis, and performed extensive research on Web Analytics & Metrics, SEO/SEM and Multi-Channel Marketing & Social Media over the course of the semester. These visual tools and research were beneficial in order to redesign Shiseido's current website/e-commerce site while by making data-driven decision.
Buyer Persona:
This research-based representation of buyers helps companies identify existing customers' behavior.
*Disclaimer: The persona is not based on any actual person.
Customer Journey Map:
The map is used to make the customer experience visible and tangible. It captures customers' needs, processes, and perceptions at each touchpoint. This visualization allows companies to recognize the consumer's thoughts, feelings, actions, and pain points. In addition, it compels users to consider every touchpoint while determining how to optimize the overall, customer experience.

Wireframes:
I created an eCommerce site homepage wireframe as well as shopping cart and checkout sequence: Home > Shopping Cart > Sign-in > Shipping > Payment > Review.
Homepage:
Added a "Shiseido Stories" (i.e., blog) section, an Instagram widget, social media icons and a video library section.
My Cart Page:
Added "Chat with Us" button and modified the layout slightly.
Sign-In Page:
Added "Social Sign-In" features, "Order Summary", and a section for shopping bag details.
Shipping, Payment, and Review Pages:
Numbered the steps in the “Check Out” phase and modified the layout slightly.
