Ruamrudeed International High School in Thailand wanted a design for their yearbook that portrayed the new and old mixed with the diversity of an international school. Working with the yearbook advisor through skype, they gave me the word “Renew” which I took and gave them a colorful new design that would set their book apart from the past years. The colors were very bright showing the happy outcome of the new. I worked on a set of spreads that were a record of the 2012 flood that displaced much of the city and surrounding areas, including the school. The spreads showed where the flood reached, how people handled it, and where they fled.
