The Problem
Grief itself is not a real problem, grief is in fact, a natural process that humans go through after they've lost something significant for them. It could be someone's death, a divorce, a job loss or even moving from one city to another.

The real problem with grief is that there's a lot of people who rather ignoring their feelings, people prefer to "move on" with their daily life's just as if nothing had happened. When Grief is ignored it could develop into a pathological Grief.
And now, that's a problem!
The Approach
We had to get closer to people in grief, so we created personas which represented our target users. After doing this we worked all along with real people in grief. All them where at different stages of grief process. They all had different loses too. So we made a series of activities that would help us understand their current situation.
Observations and Insights
After the activities done with our target users we discovered some interesting Insights, for example: most of our users didn't take their time to think about their loss, also, most of them were thinking on calm places or wanted to go on vacations. This is how we came up with the idea of creating a special room where they could feel isolated but not lonely in their process.

Synthesis
With the results discovered in our insights. We developed a Journey Map, and some sketches on how the room and the experience would feel like.
The Solution
After the insights discovered in the activities done with our target users, we decided to build an interactive room where the person in grief would stay and feel comfortable. In front of the user would be an interactive screen which will lead him through a series of meditation and psychological exercises (we based this exercises on Gestallt methodology). The user can book their experience when needed. Something similar to going to therapy but making it feel more like a self-therapy.

Look & Feel
Here we display the look & feel of our experience. We designed Emotio's branding, color palette and even some Stationary tools.
