Tired? Drink Coffee. | Typographical Billboard
This project that began in late June was based around the idea of designing a set of typographical billboard posters that encourage motorway drivers to drink coffee, specifically on the off-chance they may feel tired, by presenting the benefits of the coffee itself in a “visually-linear” narrative that is displayed over a short-but-exact set period of time.

As you will see, the first billboard consists of text being surrounded by a flow of dark rich coffee, as well as the inclusion of a traditional wooden stirring stick, the second acting as a waiting period for the consumption to be completed, and finally the third being the after-effect whereby surface marks made from the coffee, as well as the stirring stick itself, have been left behind. By effect, alongside the alternated style of typography, the third billboard for that matter sells the energy that the drivers now know they can benefit from, considering their possible circumstance.

For the display mockup, each design has been placed within the same billboard that would then, in accordance to the narrative, change digitally as a way of helping drivers identify, in real time, how long the coffee takes in order to take effect.

So, be sure to tell me what you think in the comment section below!

This is a non-commercial project.
