Ghaibana Haqeeqat - A VR Game

Game Story

Imran had a repressed memory at the back of his mind. He had gone to a friend’s house where he witnessed a Baba Ji. The Baba had an assortment of equipment with him, which he employed for his many strange rituals. Imran inquired his friend about the purpose of the Baba but his friend rebuffed him. Nonetheless the odd demeanor and visage of the Baba got stuck with Imran, and his mind conjured visions of spirits and jinn. He had always denied the existence of such things, yet now they were trailing behind his thoughts.

He returned home later in the day, the darkness washed across the sky like spilled ink. Outwardly he seemed normal but his thoughts were clouded. He slowly ambled to his room, closed his eyes and went to sleep. If he thought he was going to gain respite from his thoughts while asleep, then he was soon going to be disappointed. He had gone to sleep, yet he found himself standing outside the school gate, waiting for his car to come. After an anxious wait of 2 hours his car arrived. Imran asked the driver about the delay as he got in but his question was met with silence. The car meandered
aimlessly through the streets, the skies slowly darkening. All of this seemed strange to Imran. He tried to caution the driver but was met with silence once again. A sudden flash of lightening lit up the sky, and the car veered hard down the road. Imran tried to grab onto something as the car lunged head-on into a brick wall. The front of the car was wrecked, and Imran crawled out of the back seat, dazed but miraculously unhurt. He looked around and the location seemed familiar, yet somehow unreal. The place was void of any person, any living thing in fact since he could not hear even the chirping of any birds. He pressed on to find out where he was.

He could make out faint moans and screams in the distance. He came face to face with the specters that haunted his dreams. He had no choice but to grab what he could to defend himself and fight his way out of this nightmare. He would open his eyes and escape his dream once he has fought with the spirits and made his way to the end of the haunted dreamscape. Once awake he shudders from remembering his wicked dream. His mother notices his anguish and tries to calm him by telling him it was only a dream, yet even now Imran is not sure whether his memory was a mere vision, for he vividly recalled details no dream had ever afforded him.
