Dissertation: Social Issues in Advertising Design

"The purpose of this dissertation has been to identify how companies are incorporating social issues into their brand identity and how they can do so in a way that won't aggravate the public."
The concept behind the design of this dissertation is that it could act as as a double-sided protest poster when unfolded, while being a legible publication with relevant imagery when folded down. The large typography for the poster ends up creating intriguing shapes throughout the publication, without interfering with the legibility.
