Conscious Consumption
This series is a self portrait analyzing personal choices affected and influenced by society. Over the course of a year I was exposed to the horrible truths of consumerism and consumption. As I learn more about the fashion industry I also learn about the fast pace we consume and dispose and it quite frankly is disgusting. In these photos I explore my emotions and feelings towards this with idea that "You are what you wear". If I am supporting businesses that practice the burning of unsold clothing & harmful and unethical production, aren't I just as bad?
