Color Experimental

'Color Experimental' is a series of exercises that explore color in aleatory ways. In art, you can talk about gestures, composition, concept, and the list goes on. However, the decisions that are made when creating a work always have an explanation. Entire debates are assembled around the techniques used and the successes or failures of the work. However, little space is left to chance. By re-examining the idea that everything in art has a reason to be, 'Color Experimental' seeks to make decisions arbitrarily and to open a space to the lack of arguments.
The project does not try to justify its reasons or to find an explanation about the decisions made. On the contrary, this series of works proposes accepting the result, beyond our liking, to allow us to appreciate the unexpected. By assuming the process as automatic we can, entertain ourselves with the result.

In these images, we see a variety of traces of the conditions to which the material was subjected to transform and expose its color. Both light and shadow are used to highlight all the shades that can be obtained. The work seeks to expose materials commonly used but seen in altered ways, perhaps to the point where the material ceases to be evident.
