Illustration of Rick and Morty from Rick and Morty. I used Adobe Illustrator and the pen tool to construct the images in this illustration. For the background I used different shades of green and the blob paint tool to create the portal effect. The reason I decided to do Rick for the smiley face project was that he is such an iconic character at the moment and with the show Rick and Morty being so random and having many memorable episodes I saw it as a chance for a lot of creativity when it came to the elements in the illustration. Which explains the pickles Morty has for arms.
