36 DAYS OF TYPE
2018 - 5th edition
36 Days of Type is a daily challenge that lets you share your own view on the letters and numbers from our alphabet. It is hosted by @36daysoftype on Instagram.
THEME
The theme I chose was "Compilation of references for future design works".
I wanted to put together inspiring concepts taken from paintings, sculptures, illustrations, other art & design movements, architecture or even hobbies like videogames... so any person can come here when looking for inspiration.
DESIGN PROCESS
First of all, I gathered some inspiration that you can see on this Pinterest moodboard.
You can find out more about the references for each letter on my Instagram account.
Once I had the reference selected, I drew some sketches and then jumped into Cinema 4D to model and render it. I also had time to animate 3 of the letters (R, 0 and 7).
I enjoyed a lot during the challenge, and I was so happy when the official 36 Days account featured my number 0. Hope you'll enjoy my work!
