DESIGNING WITH GLYPHS
Final prints mounted onto foam core
Introduction

This project was a way to see letters not as what we are used to, but as unique shapes. We were supposed to create an interesting composition on the computer using a San serif and Serif font. We had to have 5-8 letters, 2 must be either black or white. It is not allowed to outline letters or have alternating colors on a single glyph. Letters can’t be repeated unless they are different capitalization. The dimensions of the project are 6.75 by 8 inches, vertical. The composition should have a focal point and exercise multiple principles of art. Overall, the picture should look abstract and interesting without forming shapes you could recognize.
