1) Hanz Landa is paying mind games with La Pedite by pretending to be friendly to La Pedite. However, Hanz Landa already knew that LaPedite knew why he came to visit the farm. Hanz Landa was being polite and kindly asks for glasses of milk. In addition, Hanz Landa asked to smoke his pipe with LaPedite. Although he was acting kind and polite, he knew that LaPadite is sheltering enemies of the state and that they are underneath LaPedite’s floorboards.

-Manuel - the screenplay is very cheesey due to there overexagerated line

- the story shoes there past without saying it
