Belmont Lake Brewery is a Canadian craft brewery in Ontario. As part of a student project I rebranded the brewery, giving it an updated logo and designed/illustrated 4 of their beer labels as well as their website. This remains a student project and is not commissioned by the brewery; no copyright infringement intended.
The logo is inspired by the Victorian stained glass panels in the brewery, which originate from England. It is a nod to their location at Deer Bay and evocative of the nature that surrounds the brewery and the stories behind the beers.
I illustrated 4 of their 8 existing beer labels and typeset the back labels with the story of each beer. The labels were designed with the intention to stand out on the shelves of supermarkets although they are not yet sold in stores. The eye catching colours and dynamism of the labels give each one its own unique character.
I redesigned their website on Hype Tumult – a fully interactive site with microanimations and transitions. Online, I put the beers at the forefront of the brewery.
I also created brand guidelines for future implementation of the brand across new beer labels, social media and web use.
