Book Cover Design Concepts
For one of my classes, each student was asked to create multiple book covers for any book of their choice. One book, that has not only fascinated me, but millions of people all around the globe, is 1984 by George Orwell. It is captivating and unsettling, yet we seem to be closer to such a future, than ever before.
One of the most prevalent topics, not only in the book, but also in today's society, is surveillance and the paranoia of being watched by someone or something. I wanted to concentrate on that particular aspect by using elements such as eyes and cameras to highlight and tease it on the cover.
