Ferroflux - Business to Business Ad Campaign

For this project, I had to create a business to business advertising campaign for an industrial magnet company. Magnets come with a sort of magic about them, the ability to levitate objects, carry heavy materials, and pull the smallest of metal fragments from debris is almost like a super power. That was part of my thought process when creating advertisements for them.
Creating the logo required me to think outside of the box. I wanted to create a brand name that wasn’t previously used (or used too heavily) with the name holding real meaning to it. I created a variety of names and filtered them down to Ferroflux.
As this was a business to business advertising campaign, it would be crucial to consider where the advertisements were placed to ensure the most companies would find it. I decided to create mockups of where the advertisements would be shown, such as specialty magazines and on websites for metal factories, as well as in company meeting places, such as during large specialty events for businesses requiring magnets.
Finding something catchy or interesting to look at to represent three different types of magnets isn’t easy. I had to look at what type of industrial magnets there are out there, and I chose magnetic separators: that filter out metal from other trash, power lift magnets: that help workers in a factory move large pieces of metal, and maglev train magnets, that levitate certain types of trains to ease the ride for passengers.
