For this infographic, I wanted to visually convey the current progress in the field of IoT, and the future of IoT. It is a promotional infographic, and so only presents the advantages of IoT.  To keep the title minimal but with texture, I typed out ‘IOT’, then converted the letters into shapes through ‘create outlines’ and then used pathfinder to cut out this shape from a black white rectangle, and placed it infront of an image of a city. I then proceeded to create content for the blue sector of the infographic, creating a graph and tracing over an image of a car. I wanted the information to flow seamlessly whilst keeping structure, so I extended the line in which the car was sat upon to add more elements, such as an RFID tag and a smartwatch. I then worked on the white section to create a sense of balance before finishing the blue section, and dedicated this section to talking about IoT in cities. I like the perspective of the skyscrapers I created, as they are present in the work whilst not drawing attention away from the information. I then focused on creating a design for the smart dust, and I acheived this by making a new scatter bursh which was just a triangle, and scattering these triangles along a path.  Overall, I feel that the shapes and forms of the piece work well in creating a balanced composition, and the use of a gradient rather than a solid colour gives a cleaner effect.
