As a Colombian citizen who left the country at a young age, I often find myself looking at old pictures from home. I have gathered some of these pictures, that make me rediscover my love for Colombia every time I look at them. That love is however a painful love, a love that lingers between hope and impotence, for a place that is as beautiful as it is tragic. The wounds of a troubled history are still very much open. However, a new hope has come to light, as the country undergoes a gigantic transformation that will hopefully lead to a new path of reconciliation. These pictures are my love letter to Colombia.
